A great way to engage your website visitors is to provide Live Chat on your website so that they can get instant answers to any questions they may have.

This article explains how you would go about implementing live chat functionality on your website.

Step 1

There are a number of live chat providers, some of them offering basic accounts for free. Here are just some of them:

https://www.livechatinc.com/

https://www.purechat.com/

https://www.zopim.com/

https://www.clickdesk.com/

And you can view other possible options here.

Simply select the one you prefer and sign up for an account. You would then configure the look and feel of the chat widget (refer to the online help for the chat solution you have selected for more information).

They will generally provide you with some code to embed the chat widget to your website.

Step 2

You then need to embed the code into your website.

This is done by clicking 'Settings' on the top black bar, and then going to 'Pro'.

Paste your chat widget code into the Header code and click 'Set':

Publish your site for this to take effect.
